OUR
MOTTO:
Argue opinions - not a
person. |
“Nothing is as frustrating as arguing with someone who knows what he's
talking about.” Sam Ewing

Advanced lessons of
Arguing:
- "We need to learn and follow the basic lessons of arguing not
because of our opponent/disagreer, but because of ourselves. This is
because if we are in default of those we ARE on the wrong ground and
thus will suffer some damage".
- Be positive with what you want. Understand that there are only two
possibilities as the outcome of your arguing:
a) to win the
argument and prove you're right b) to lose the argument and realise
that your current opinion was outdated or based on wrong
information.
Thus you will benefit from it by being in the
position to acquire the real truth. In either way you benefit from
arguing. However, if you don't feel you would be able to stand to lose
the argument nor change your current opinion, then the best advise here
is: do NOT enter it. Otherwise you'll get frustrated only.
- One has to be able to "read" his opponent when they deliberately
want to play oblivious to what they were told, with sole intention to
provoke emotional reaction to their opponent and thus win the argument
without real ground.
How can you "read" your opponent's tricks?
They try to trick you if they:
a) telling you anything
else but not giving you answer to your questions b) counter
your question by their question, and that question doesn't have a form
of an answer c) try to switch the subject by implementing new
field of arguing d) try to provoke your emotions. (by
swearing, abusing, being sarcastic, ironic, etc). Remember Basic
Lessons of arguing: Do not let
your emotions control you during an argument.

- Keep this all time on your mind: Listening is more important than
Talking, and Thinking is more Intelligent than Reacting.
- When somebody has the opinion that terrifies us, we must
not take it personally regardless how ridiculous their statement is. We
have 5 options to choose from:
1. Verbal backfire right away. (To express our
strong disagreement showing how terrified we are) 2. Do
something. (To keep silent, but to do something that would nail
the "bastard") 3. Verbal backfire and do. (To
express disagreemnt and to do something to nail the "bastard")
4. To do nothing. (Just keep silent, or say
something totally irrelevant to the subject.) 5: To ask
questions.
The option 5 is the best one in this complicated situation. The
thorough explanation is found here: When we strongly disagree with
somebody
opinions.
This will take you to our forum, and you'll be able to enjoy conclusion
brought up by the conversation of our members.
- Once you win your argument, do not disrespect your opponent. Why
shooting at somebody who is already down?
